Requirements for the award of these Scholarships
- A Bachelor’s degree with either a first class honours, or second class honours upper division
- Age is limited to a maximum of 36 years.

There are Research Grants for PhD Candidates, Young Scientists, and Academics (in all fields of research) for the academic year 2016/2017 to pursue a PhD. in Germany, courtesy of DAAD.
There are eight scholarship offers to Kenyans and Kenyan residents with an excellent Master’s degree.
Here is your chance to take advantage of this opportunity.
Additional 20 scholarships for Kenyan University staff members. DAAD and the Government of Kenya (GoK) offer these under the administration of the National Council for Science and Technology (NCST).
There are 20 scholarships for staff members of the Tanzanian public universities. DAAD and the government of Tanzania under the administration of the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) collaboratively sponsor these.
There is no age limit for the applicants of these applications.
However, the Master’s degree must not be older than six years at the time of application.
There are several scholarships available under this programme.
